What is ruhly?

ruhly is an Islamic app for young Muslims. It writes you one passage every fajr across six pillars, and includes daily hadith, a Quran reader with reciters, adhan and prayer times, sadaqah, adhkar and a dua library.

When does ruhly launch?

Ramadan, iOS first. Waitlist members are emailed once, when it opens — not before, and not weekly.

Who writes the passages?

They are written editorially and reviewed against mainstream Sunni scholarship before they ship. The citation sits on the same screen as the passage rather than in a footnote.

Is ruhly a replacement for scholarship?

No. ruhly is a daily read, not a fatwa service. Anything that needs a ruling belongs with a qualified scholar, and the app says so where it matters.

How are hadith graded?

Sahih-grade only. Everything is graded before it ships, and the context comes before the quote.

Where does sadaqah money go?

Straight to the charity. ruhly does not hold it, route it, or take a cut of it.

Is the Quran reader free?

Yes, permanently, including reciters. It sits on the free tier and stays there.

Does ruhly have prayer times and the adhan?

Yes. Prayer times are calculated for your location, the adhan can be turned on or off per prayer, and there is a fajr alarm and a tahajjud calculator.

What does "no gamified worship" mean?

Streaks count reading, not prayer. There is no score attached to your worship, no leaderboard, and no notification designed to guilt you back into the app.

Is ruhly safe for younger users?

Yes. It is family-friendly and appropriate for children to use.

What does ruhly cost?

The free tier is free permanently. ruhly+ pricing is announced at launch, and waitlist members hear it first.
